Dendrobium finisterrae

Dendrobium finisterrae là một loài thực vật có hoa trong họ Lan. Loài này được Schltr. mô tả khoa học đầu tiên năm 1912.

Tìm thấy ở Papua and New Guinea với một kích thước lớn, sống phụ sinh phát triển trong vùng khí hậu từ mát đến lạnh, chúng mọc trên thân cây phủ đầy rêu trong rừng nhiệt đới ở độ cao từ 1.300 đến 2.100m so với mực nước biển. Cây mọc thành từng bụi, thân cây hơi dẹt có màu vàng cam, mang từ 2 đến 3 lá dạng hình elip. Hoa nở vào mùa đông, mùa xuân và mùa hè, hoa thơm nhạt, hoa phát sinh từ gàn đỉnh

Found in Papua and New Guinea as a large sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte found on moss covered trees in mistforest at elevations of 1300 to 2100 meters with clustered, somewhat flattened, orange yellow stems carrying 2 to 3, oblong-elliptic, suberect leaves that blooms in the winter, spring and summer on an erect, to 10" [25 cm] long, laxly several [8 to 10] flowered inflorescence with faintly fraflowers that do not open well arising from near the apex of the canes.
